Semifinal win sends Parkside to final

The Parkside Panthers senior boys basketball team will play in the 2010 provincial championship game.

Parkside beat Timmins 68-43, Wednesday morning, to earn a spot in the AA OFSAA final - set for 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Kyle Giedraitis led Parkside with 23 points. Quinn Henderson added 16.

Parkside will meet either defending AA OFSAA champs, and number one seed, St. Thomas Aquinas of Oakville or the Herman Griffiths of Windsor. Those two teams meet at Noon Wednesday to decide the other finalist.
